We would have seen logos of famous brands in our everyday life, but the chances of wondering what the logo depicts is very less. Most of the logos are designed carefully depicting the product they sell, or the tagline of the company.

Here is a set of logos which have hidden meanings in them.

1. Baskin Robbins

If you carefully notice, in the logo of Baskin Robbins, the curved part of the ‘B’ and the stem part of the ‘R’ depict the number ‘31’. This indicates the 31 flavors of Baskin Robbins.

The shades used in the logo represents fun and energy, much like how you’ll feel during(and after) eating the ice-cream.

2. Vaio

Sony Vaio, aka Visual Audio Intelligent Organizer is a Japanese manufacturer headquartered in Azumino, Nagao Prefecture that makes personal computers and smartphones.

Vaio represents the integration of both ‘analog’ and ‘digital’ technologies in its products. The letters ‘VA’ in the logo depicts an analog wave, while the ‘IO’ resembles the numbers ‘1’ and ‘0’, representing a digital or binary code.

3. Amazon

Amazon is an American multinational technology company based in Seattle that focuses on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming and artificial intelligence.

The yellow arrow in their logo starts from the letter ‘a’ and points towards the letter ‘z’ in the word ‘amazon’. This depicts that you can buy almost anything from ‘a’ to ‘z’ in Amazon.

The arrow also represents a smile, with the arrowhead being styled in the form of a dimple. The smile indicates the happiness and satisfaction of customers when they shop with amazon.

4. Beats Electronics

Beats Electronics LLC is a subsidiary of Apple Inc. That produces audio products. The company was founded by music producer and rapper Dr. Dre and Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy lovine.

The logo for Beats by Dre is basically a ‘b’ enclosed in a red circle followed by the brand name.

If you carefully notice, it actually represents a human’s head, and the ‘b’ represents the headphone’s worn by the man. This gives the brand a personal element allowing the customer to see themselves in the headphones.

5. Hyundai

The Hyundai Motor Company, commonly known as Hyundai Motors, is a South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Seoul.

The ‘H’ in Hyundai’s logo does stand for the company name, but it is also a depiction of two individuals shaking hands.

One individual is a company representative and the other is a satisfied customer. Their exchange is a handshake of trust and satisfaction between the company and the customer i.e. a satisfied client + caring company = the perfect logo

The oval around the figures indicates Global expansion.

6. Toyota

Toyota Motor Corporation is a Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Toyota, Aichi, Japan.

The specialty in the logo of Toyota is that the letters of ‘Toyota’ , ‘T’, ‘O’, ‘Y’, ‘O’, ‘T, ‘A’ is depicted in the logo.  The background space represents Toyota’s technological advancement and the boundless opportunities ahead.
